WHEREAS, the old Maribojoc Public Market is now deteriorating since it was constructed for more than 50 years ago;

WHEREAS, this building was made of woods and other light materials;

WHEREAS, for the welfare & safety of the occupants and the residents, there is need to repair for it is fire hazard building;

WHEREAS, the public market is the show window of the town and it will reflect the image of the municipality, hence there is a necessity to renovate this public building;

WHEREAS, in order to attract more businessmen and welcome the market goers, this place should be made beautiful considering that it is one of the income generating intity;

THEREFORE on mass motion by the SB Members in their session duly assembled;

BE RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan to request Hon. Francis Pangilinan to appropriate & release the amount of P1.5 million for the renovation & repair of the Maribojoc Public Market, Maribojoc, Bohol.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. . Francis Pangilinan, Senator, Rm. 526, GSIS Bldg., Financial Center Roxas Blvd., Pasay City for his kind consideration of this request.
