AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER TO DISBURSE AN AMOUNT OF TEN THOUSAND PESOS (P10,000.00) OUT OF ANY LOCAL FUNDS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS TO CELEBRATE PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ON JUNE 12, 2002 AS PER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 33 ISSUED BY HER EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO.

WHEREAS, there a need for the Filipino people to commemorate the heroism and self-sacrifice of our forefathers in the struggle for independence;

WHEREAS, the 104th Anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence is the ideal occasion for all Filipinos to invite and rally behind the government and the country’s institution;

WHEREAS, there is a need to properly plan implement and coordinate all programs and activities to the said celebration;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol will celebrate the Philippine Independence Day Celebration on June 12, 2002 at Punta Cruz Watch Tower and Park, Punta Cruz, Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the celebration at Punta Cruz Watch Tower needs a considerable amount for the expenses of transportation of Municipal Officials and employees, decorations, foods and other expenditures in relation to the celebration;

WHEREAS, in support of the 104th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, local government units are authorized to allocate funds for this purpose;

WHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;

“To authorize the Municipal Treasurer to disburse an amount of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) out of any available local funds for the implementation of activities and programs to celebrate Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 12, 2002 as per Administrative Order No. 33 issued by Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo;”

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished, Mrs. Anastacia M. Arocha, Municipal Treasurer, Maribojoc, Bohol for her implementation and disbursement of funds.
