APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF P6,300.00 FOR THE SATISFACTION OF THE LAUNDRY ALLOWANCE DUE TO THE HEALTH WORKERS OF THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE AS EMBODIED IN THE MAGNA CARTA FOR PUBLIC HEALTH WORKERS.

WHEREAS, the Department of Budget and Management issued Letter Circular #2000-12, dated June 15, 2000 enumerating, among others, the different allowances that may be granted by local government units to its public health workers as embodied in the Magna Carta for Public Health Workers;

WHEREAS, One of the allowances allowed is the granting of P125.00 per month laundry allowance for each regular public health worker;

WHEREAS, at present, the Municipal Health Workers of Maribojoc, Bohol are only Receiving P50.00 per month as laundry allowance;

WHEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol that:

SECTION 1: The amount of P6,300.00 be appropriated from the General Fund for
Calendar Year 2001 for the satisfaction of the P75.00 different of the health workers laundry allowance.

SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
