AN ORDINANCE DECLARING EVERY SATURDAY AS A MARKET DAY AT THE SAN ROQUE SUB MARKET, SAN ROQUE, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1: Definition of terms:

a) Public Market: Refers to any place, building or structure of any kind, designated as such by the Sangguniang Bayan for purposes of selling goods to the public.

b) Market Day: A day declared by the Sangguniang Bayan to hold a market day wherein different goods and items are sold to the public.

SECTION 2: In order to be legal in holding a public market day, it is imperative
that the Sangguniang Bayan will declare officially the market day at San Roque Sub Market.

SECTION 3: By virtue of the power vested in the Sangguniang Bayan of
Maribojoc, Bohol the market day of San Roque Sub Market is officially declared every Saturday for commercial purposes in the Barangay of San Roque and its adjoining barangays of this municipality.

SECTION 4: That the Municipal Treasurer’s Office is empowered to collect and
issue cash tickets to the vendors who use the sub-market of San Roque during the market days and other days for commercial purposes.

SECTION 5: That the value of the cash tickets issued shall be in conformity with
the Revised Revenue Code of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol..

SECTION 6: That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.
