PROPOSED ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF FORTY PESOS (P40.00) AS RESERVATION FEE FOR THE USE OF THE PICNIC SHED AND SIXTY PESOS (P60.00) FOR THE USE OF THE PICNIC SHED AND SIXTY PESOS (P60.00) FOR THE USE OF KIOSK AT PUNTA CRUZ WATCH TOWER AND PARK, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, there is a necessity of regulating the use of streets, avenues, alleys, sidewalks, bridges, park and other public utilities in order to promote general welfare;

WHEREAS, there is a remarkable increase of picnic goers at the Punta Cruz Watch Tower and Park to the extent that the facilities inside the park can not accommodate users in order to cater shelter, protection and convenience;

WHEREAS, Sangguniang Bayan is empowered to fix and impose reasonable fees and charges for all services rendered by the municipal government to private persons or entities;

WHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION: 1. The picnic shed and Kiosk at Punta Cruz Watch Tower and Park shall
be opened for use and reservation to all picnic goers and tourists.

SECTION: 2. The following rate shall be charged as reservation fees for the use of
the picnic sheds and kiosk inside the park.

a) P40.00 for the picnic sheds
b) P60.00 for the kiosk

SECTION: 3. Reservation for the use of the said facilities shall be done at least three
days prior to their use to avoid overlapping and prejudices of other users.

SECTION: 4. No reservation shall be entertained for the use of the above mentioned
facilities without seeking first the approval of the chief executive and upon payment of the reservation fees at the treasurer’s office. It is therefore the responsibility of the Treasurer to inform the Punta Cruz Watch Tower and Park caretaker concerning the date of reservation.

SECTION: 5. Reservation fees shall be charged distinctly from rental fees as
mandated by Municipal Ordinance No. 506, series of 1992.

SECTION: 6. Any person or entities who shall ask for reservation of the said facilities
shall fix the specific date and time for its use.

SECTION: 7. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
