AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DUMPING OF WASTE MATERIALS AND DEAD ANIMALS FROM THE IPIL AREA TO THE BOUNDARY-POBLACION-DIPATLONG, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

Sec. 1 – It is unlawful for any person or group of persons, to throw or dump any waste materials and dead animals, from the Ipil-Poblacion area to the boundary of Poblacion and Dipatlong;

Sec. 2 – That the Ipil area to the boundary of Dipatlong area is the main thorough fare of the bus/jeepney passenger going to North-South bound and vice versa of our province.

Sec. 3 – The dumping of waste materials and dead animals is an eyesore and give unpleasant odors to passengers.
Sec. 4 – The dumping of waste materials and dead animals at the shoulder of National Highway at the swampy area is prohibited.

Sec. 5 – The designated dumping place is the big whole in the middle of Taytayan Ta-as and in the Municipal lot in the cemetery.

Sec. 6 – Penalty

Penalty or group of persons who violates the provisions of the ordinance, shall be fined with the following:

(a) First offence . . . . . . . warning
(b) second offence . . . . a fine of P50.00
(c) third offence . . . . . . a fine of P100.00 or imprisonment of 2 days
Or both by the discretion of the court

Sec. 7 – That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.
