AN ORDINANCE PENALIZING ILLEGAL WATER CONNECTION FROM OTHER WATER CONSUMER OR FROM ANY SOURCE OF THE MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM.

Be it ordained by the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan that:

SECTION 1: It is unlawful for any person or group of persons to connect from a waterpipe of another consumer without proper authority.

SECTION 2: That connection from any source of water supplied by the Maribojoc Waterworks System without prior approval of the Municipal Mayo is deemed illegal and constitutes penalty for its violation.

SECTION 3: Any person or group of persons who violate this ordinance shall be fined of not less than P100.00 or not more than P200.00 or an imprisonment of not less than 10 days or not more than 20 days or both at the discretion of the court.

SECTION 4: If the Municipal Plumber violates this ordinance he shall be suspended for one month without pay for first offense and termination of services for the second offense.

SECTION 5: That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.
