APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND PESOS (P440,000.00) OUT OF THE PORTION OF THE GENERAL FUND SURPLUS, C.Y. 2000 AND 5% WITHHELD IRA FOR C.Y. YEAR 1998 FOR THE EXTRA CHRISTMAS BONUS OF THE MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL PURSUANT TO BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 2001-02 DATED NOVEMBER 12, 2001 OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT.

BE IT ENACTED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1 : Appropriation and Source: The amount of Four hundred forty thousand (P440,000.00) out of the portion of the General Fund surplus, C.Y. 2000 and 5% withheld IRA for C.Y. 1998 are appropriated as Supplemental Budget, C.Y. 2001 in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

SECTION 2 : Purpose: The amount of Four hundred forty thousand pesos (P440,000.00) out of the portion of the general fund surplus C.Y. 2000 in the amount of Two hundred thousand pesos (P200,000.00) and 5% withheld IRA for C.Y. 1998 in the amount of Two hundred Forty thousand pesos (P240,000.00) are hereby appropriated for the Extra Christmas Bonus of the Municipal Officials and Employees in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

SECTION 3 : Amount of Bonus: The amount of Ten Thousand pesos (P10,000.00) shall be allotted for each Municipal Official and Employee as “Extra Christmas Bonus, C.Y. 2001;

SECTION 4 : Sponsorship and Deliberation: This appropriation ordinance was sponsored on mass motion by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan present and was deliberated during the regular session duly assembled by the Sangguniang Bayan.

SECTION 5 : Effectivity: This appropriation ordinance shall take effect upon
approval.
