OFFICE OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED NINETY NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTEEN PESOS AND TWENTY TWO CENTAVOS (P17,399,513.22) UNDER THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE CURRENT OPERATING EXPENDITURES AND CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUIREMENTS OF THE LGU-MARIBOJOC, BOHOL COVERING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31 YEAR TWO THOUSAND TWO (2002).

WHEREAS, for the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol to operate as a local government unit there is a compelling need to provide appropriations for C.Y. 2002;

WHEREAS, the Local Chief Executive, in pursuance of the provisions of Sections 318 and 455 (3) (1) and (ii) of R.A 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, has caused the preparation of the Executive Budget for C.Y. 2002 and has submitted the same to the Sangguniang Bayan for approval;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan through its Committee on Appropriation and Finance has studied the proposed Annual Budget, C.Y. 2002 of the LGU-Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the said Committee on Appropriation and Finance after evaluation and study, has recommended the approval and consideration of the appropriation ordinance embodying the budget proposal for C.Y. 2002 of the Local Chief Executive;

NOW THEREFORE, Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan, that:

SECTION 1 : Appropriation and Source: There is hereby appropriated the sum of P17,399,513.22 to be taken from the estimated annual income/revenue of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol in the amount of P17,399,513.22 duly certified as the reasonable probability of collection for C.Y. 2002 to cover the various current operating expenditures and capital outlay requirements of the LGU-Maribojoc, Bohol from January 1 to December 31, 2002;

SECTION 11 : Purpose: The sum of P17,399,513.22 is hereby appropriated as Annual General Fund Budget, C.Y. 2002 for the following Departments and sections, to wit:

Special Services (Day Care) – 147,566.96
Office of the Sangguniang Bayan – 3,684,002.80
Office of the Municipal Secretary – 316,659.68
Office of the Municipal Civil Registrar – 357,105.44

Office of the Municipal Budget Officer – 317,722.44
Office of the Municipal Accountant – 591,240.84
Office of the Municipal Treasurer – 1,355,871.08
Office of the Municipal Assessor – 417,675.68
Office of the Municipal Engineer – 414,935..16
Office of the Municipal Health Officer – 1,740,513.92
Office of the Municipal Agricultural Officer- 1,039,142.44

SECTION 3 : Sponsorship and Deliberation: This appropriation ordinance was sponsored on mass motion by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan present and was deliberated during the regular session duly assembled by the Sangguniang Bayan.

SECTION 4 : Disbursement of Funds: The disbursement of funds shall be in
accordance with the budget approved herein and subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 5 : Effectivity: This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 2002.
