RESOLUTION REQUESTING SENATOR RAUL ROCO TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE THE AMOUNT OF P300,000.00 FOR THE REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM, MARIBOJOC.

WHEREAS, the Maribojoc Waterworks System was established in the year 1930 with Suades Spring as the source of the water supply;

WHEREAS, within 60 years of existence, the Intake Tank at Suades Spring Aliguay, Maribojoc, Bohol has so many leakages and said intake tank ought to be rehabilitated and improved so that it can hold more water to supply the mainline pipes of five ( 5 ) barangays of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the main source at Suades Spring needs to be rehabilitated and improved because the supply of water is coursed thru the gravity system;

WHEREAS, this Suades Intake Tank is the only source of water supply of five barangays and without the Suades Spring Intake Tank, the people of Aliguay, Bato, Lincod, San Vicente and Anislag will be thirsty of potable drinking water;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to request Senator Raul Roco to appropriate and release the amount of P300,000.00 for the rehabilitation and improvement of the Maribojoc Waterworks System, Maribojoc, Bohol;

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, Senator Raul Roco, Philippine Senate, Manila for his kind consideration and preferential attention of this request.
