A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AND SOCIO CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC BOHOL TO LAUNCH A “PESO PESO” SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN FOR THE VICTIMS OF MT. PINATUBO

WHEREAS, the peso-peso shall be called the “ Maribojochanon Tabang sa Pinatubo”;

WHEREAS, the Social Welfare and Development Officer shall take charge of the campaign proceedings to exercise their duty to be in the frontline of service delivery, particularly there concerning immediate relief and assistance in the aftermath of natural disasters;

WHEREAS, more than one ( 1 ) million Filipinos in the towns of Tarlac, Pampanga and Zambales are homeless, suffering for hunger, and disease due to the Mt. Pinatubo second eruption;

WHEREAS, Mt. Pinatubo first erupted last June 15, 1991 and to date it erupted again and brought havoc to hundred of Filipino lives and millions worth of properties;

WHEREAS, all donations for Mt. Pinatubo in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol shall be sent thru the Philippine Information Agency of Tagbilaran;

WHEREAS, it is the right and duty of every Filipino Citizen to formulate measures for the assistance of the needy Filipinos;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the government officials and employees of Maribojoc will launch a peso-peso signature campaign for the victims of Mt. Pinatubo.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and proper implementation.
