RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE TOWN MAYOR, ATTY. JOSE E. VELOSO TO GIVE PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION TO THE FOLLOWING RETIRED MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, MR. ANTONIO VILLAS, MR. ANTONIO VARON, MR. EMILIANO VENDENCIA. MISS REGINA REDULLA, MR. JULIAN BACAREZA, MRS. CRESENCIA VENDENCIA, MR. RICARDO VARON AND MR. JORGE REDULLA.

WHEREAS, there is an existing ordinance no. 267, series of 1987, which gives plaque of appreciation to any municipal employees who has served the municipality of Maribojoc for more than five years;

WHEREAS, there is also a pending ordinance authored by Hon. Isidro P. Mirontos, Sr. which also asked for recognition of retired employees of the Municipality of Maribojoc;

WHEREAS, it is a laudable act for the local chief to initiate such move as a token of souvenir for the dedication and services they have rendered to our municipality;

WHEREAS, if the provision of the existing ordinance No. 267, series of 1987 as well as the proposed ordinance of Kagawad Mirontos, Sr. and Amolat will be implemented, the retired municipal employees as well as the employees still working in our municipality will feel that they are given importance and due recognition;

WHEREAS, one of the psychological needs of a person is recognition and identify, it is proper recognize their lengthy services they rendered as employees;

WHEREAS, it is a duty of a local chief as a manager of a political institution, to bolster the morale and the ego of the employees, not only by meeting their physical needs but as well as the socio-psychological needs;

WHEREAS, several employees have already retired but they were only given despedida parties of their co-employees but were not given any form souvenir as a token of their untarnished services and dedication;

WHEREFORE, it is hereby resolved, to request the Municipal Mayor, Atty. Jose E. Veloso, to give Plaques of Appreciation to the above mentioned retired municipal employees of the Maribojoc, Bohol.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the Mayor, and the Municipal Treasurer for immediate action and implementation.
