RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. LEONCIO B. EVASCO, JR. TO SIGN IN BEHALF OF LGU-MARIBOJOC, BOHOL A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A FARM-TO- MARKET ROAD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol is an agricultural town wherein majority of the inhabitants are engaged in farming and fishing industry;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Mayor is authorized by the Legislative Body to seek financial assistance from a government agency whose function is to improve the agricultural aspects of the town;

WHEREAS, it is a vision of the Department of Agriculture to provide funding assistance to every municipality especially this agricultural town of Maribojoc, Bohol for the improvement of the town’s farm-to-market roads so that the farmers if the different barangays will diligently engage in their farming activities;

WHEREAS, to realize the rehabilitation of the farm-to-market roads of Maribojoc, Bohol, the Local Chief Executive of this agricultural town of Maribojoc is hereby authorized to sign a Memorandum of Agreement in behalf of the LGU-Maribojoc with the Department of Agriculture for the implementation of a Farm-To-Market Road Development Program of the Department of Agriculture;

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled, to authorize Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Municipal Mayor, to sign in behalf of LGU-Maribojoc, Bohol a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Agriculture for the implementation of a Farm-to-Market Road Development Program of the Department of Agriculture;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished the Hon. Arthur Yap, Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Metro Manila and Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol for guidance and appropriate action.
