INDORSING THE CONVERSION OF DIMAPA STATUS FROM MANGROVE STEWARDSHIP AGREEMENT (MSA) TO COMMUNITY BASE MANGROVE MANAGEMENT (CBMFMA) OF DIPATLONG, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the DIMAPA is an active People’s Organization in Barangay Dipatlong, Maribojoc, Bohol whose aim is to protect the mangrove area and other coastal resources in said barangay;

WHEREAS, DIMAPA was awarded by the Office of DENR on a Mangrove Stewardship Agreement (MSA) with 25 years of contract;

WHEREAS, as the years ago on, DIMAPA wants to avail the Community Base Mangrove Forest Management program to bolster and strengthen their rights for the effective management of the mangrove area at Dipatlong;

WHEREAS, the members of DIMAPA wanted to have legal documents and rights as stakeholders of this Nipa Plantation;

WHEREFORE, on mass motion by the Sangguniang Bayan members in their session duly assembly;

“To indorse the conversion of DIMAPA status from Mangrove Stewardship Agreement (MSA) to Community Base Mangrove Management (CBMFMA) of Dipatlong, Maribojoc, Bohol;”

BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved that copies of this resolution be furnished, the DENR, Tagbilaran City for appropriate action.
