RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR TO GRANT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OF A TOTAL AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (P5,000.00) FOR THE TWO (2) MARIBOJOCHANON CHESS PLAYERS WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 2007 AGE-GROUP CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP IN MANDALUYONG CITY.

WHEREAS, one of the priority programs of the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc is the development of youth and sport in the municipality;

WHERERAS, there are youngsters in the Municipality of Maribojoc that excel in the field of sport;

WHEREAS, the local officials of the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc find it necessary to extend financial assistance to these youngsters in order to develop themselves and their skills in the field of sport;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol as follows:

SECTION 1: That the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc does hereby authorize the Municipal
Mayor to grant financial assistance of a total amount of Five Thousand Pesos
(P5,000.00) for the two (2) Maribojochanon chess players who will participate
in the National Chess Tournament in Mandaluyong City.

SECTION 2: That copies of this resolution be furnished to the Municipal Mayor, Municipal
Accountant, Municipal Treasurer, Michael Joseph Pagaran of Kahayag,
Poblacion, Maribojoc, Bohol and Kyle Anthony Bantol of Bato, Cabawan,
Maribojoc, Bohol.
