RESOLUTION REQUESTING CENRO, DENR, CITY OF TAGBILARAN TO DONATE THE LUMBER CONFISCATED FROM THE ILLEGAL LOGGERS OF PAGNITOAN-CANDAVID AREA, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL FOR THE PROJECTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, in the past month the personnel of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources has confiscated several pieces of cut “magsa” trees in different sizes from the illegal loggers in Pagnitoan-Candavid area of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the lumber in different measurements are now stocked at the compound of the DENR, Tagbilaran, City;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol has many projects to be implemented but it lacks the necessary lumber particularly in the construction of tables,cabinet drawers and benches in the Municipal Hall;

WHEREAS, as a remembrance of the confiscated lumber from the pagnitoan-Candavid area of Maribojoc,Bohol it is fitting that a project will be constructed so it will be remembered by the people of Maribojoc, Bohol;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to request the CENRO, DENR, City of Tagbilaran to donate the lumber confiscated from the illegal loggers of Pagnitoan-Candavid Area for the projects in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished, the CENRO, DENR, City of Tagbilaran for kind consideration of this request for the benefit of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.
