RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE MUNICIPAL ELECTED OFFICIALS TO ATTEND FLAG RAISING CEREMONY EVERY MONDAY WITH OTHER GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES STATIONED IN OUR COMMUNITY.

WHEREAS, there is a need to show the spirit of Nationalism on the part of elective officials;
WHEREAS, there is no existing provisions of the 1991 Local Government Code Requiring members of the Municipal Legislative Body to report to office eight hours every office day; and Monday, the session day, is the only day legislators are required to report in a week; then attending the Flag Raising ceremony every Monday wont obstruct one’s schedule for the week end;
WHEREAS, this is chance for the Elective Officials to fully establish close connections and interrelations with the employees from the different government agencies;
WHEREAS, this is a form of giving inspirations to the regular employees in doing their daily task efficiency;
Now, on the motion of Hon. Ma. Nenita R. Chiu in their session duly assembled;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that Elective Officials are required to attend Flag Raising Ceremony every Monday with the other government employees stationed in our municipality.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, all Elective Officials, DILG and Head of Office of the Local Government for guidance and compliance.
