REQUESTING THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HONORABLE LEONCIO B. EVASCO, JR. OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL TO ENFORCE THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 06, SERIES OF 2005 IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, Municipal Ordinance No. 6, series of 2005 is providing Rules and Regulation in the operation of motorcycles services locally known as Habal-habal in the municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the regulatory ordinance has been approved sometimes in the year 2005, which until now same is not yet implemented;

WHEREAS, there are more than 100 motorcycle presently running in the municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, several complaints have reached to our attention regarding the recent operation of Habal-Habal in our municipality which we believed that implementation of the above-mentioned ordinance is the solution of these problems;

WHEREAS, Mr. Robert Valles of Poblacion, Maribojoc, Bohol appeared personally before the SB Maribojoc during its regular session bringing with his complaint against our motorcycle services as to their right distinction from other motorcycles;

WHEREAS, it is respectfully prayed that this request be given utmost attention for the inconvenience of the riding public;

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to request the Chief Executive, Honorable Leoncio B. evasco, Jr. to enforce or implement Municipal Ordinance No. 6, series of 2005;

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER,that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Maribojoc, Bohol for appropriate action.
