REQUESTING HON. SENATOR LOREN LEGARDA, PHILIPPINE SENATE, MANILA TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE AN AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION PESOS (P1.M), OUT OF HER DISCRETIONARY FUND, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A POTABLE WATER REFILLING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol is operating a Waterworks System for the water consumers of the town;

WHEREAS, the water drawn from the Bolocboloc Spring is not so safe to drink, hence there is a need for a potable water refilling station which is available for the people in a very affordable price;

WHEREAS, the establishment of a potable water refilling station which is accessible by people in all walks of life is a great need at this time;

WHEREAS, the Local Government of Maribojoc, Bohol has no funds for this purpose, therefore, the LGU Officials seek financial assistance from the discretionary funds of the Honorable Senator Loren B. Legarda;

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in its session duly assembled;

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to request Hon. Senator Loren B. Legarda, Philippines Senate, Manila, to appropriate and release an amount of One Million Pesos (P1M), out of her discretionary fund, for the establishment of a potable water refilling station in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. Senator Loren Legarda, Philippine senate, Pasay City, Metro Manila.
