AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVES ONE (1) FROM WOMEN, ONE (1) FROM SENIOR CITIZENS OR URBAN POOR AND ONE (1) FROM AGRICULTURE OR WORKERS WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 mandates that there shall be additional three sectoral representatives from different sectors of the community to be determined by the Sangguniang Bayan to be members in the Sangguniang Bayan of the municipality;

WHEREAS, these sectoral representatives are the mouthpiece of their respective groups to look after the welfare of the entire membership of the organizations;

WHEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;

SECTION 1: There shall be created three sectoral representatives, one (1) from Women sector, one (1) from Senior Citizens or Urban poor sector and one (1) from Agriculture or Workers within the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 2: These sectoral representatives shall be elected at large together with the eight (8) regular members of the Sangguniang Bayan on May 8, 1995 Local elections;

SECTION 3: The elected sectoral representatives shall serve a term of three years with the same compensation and allowances of the regular members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

SECTION 4: The ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
