ADOPTING THE LYRICS AND MUSIC OF THE COMPOSITION OF MR. NOEL D. VELOSO OF THE MARIBOJOC (AND KARAANG DUNGGUAN) AS THE OFFICIAL MARIBOJOC MUNICIPAL HYMN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1: Definition of Terms.-
a.) Municipal Hymn – It is an ode expressing a praise or adoration of a town where the hymn is intended to be sang.
b.) Lyric – It is a composition adopted to singing.
c.) Music – It is the art or science of harmonic sounds, melody, musical score of a composition.

SECTION 2: The Lyrics and Musics of the Maribojoc ( Ang Karaan Dungguan)
a.) The Lyrics of the Maribojoc (Ang Karaang Dungguan) were written by the brilliant mind of Mr. Noel D. Veloso of Poblacion, Maribojoc, Bohol.
b.) The Music of the Maribojoc (Ang Karaang Dungguan) was arranged by Mr. Pepe Cifra with the assistance of Mr. Arthur Ungab and Mr. Noel Alderite.

SECTION 3: Singing of the Municipal Hymn.- The Municipal Hymn shall be sang after the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Bohol Hymn during the flag raising ceremony every Monday morning or other special progress/occasions in all government units public and private schools and other entities in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

The Municipal Hymn will be also sang during flag retreats during Fridays in all government institutions, public and private schools and other entities within the jurisdiction of Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 4: The participants during the singing of the Municipal Hymn shall stand in attention with the right had with the palm open at the left breast to show our respect to the Municipal flag while singing the Municipal Hymn of Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 5: Adoption.- The Maribojoc ( Ang Karaang Dungguan) is hereby adopted as the Municipal Hymn of Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 6: Amendment.- The Maribojoc Municipal Hymn can be amended by its lyrics and music after exhaustive consultations with historians and musicians in parts only and the context of the song shall not be destroyed by the amendments;

SECTION 7: Effectivity.- This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

Let copies be furnished, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol for review and approval. Let copies be furnished also to all Barangay Councils of Maribojoc, Public and Private schools, Maribojoc, Bohol and other concern for their guidance and information.
