MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE IMPOSING RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE OF PUNTA CRUZ TOURISM HALL OWNED BY THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc owns the Punta Cruz Tourism Hall for the different functions and activities of the LGU;

WHEREAS, other government agencies and private sectors avail of the use of the Punta Cruz for their functions and activities;

WHEREAS, the Punta Cruz Tourism Hall needs maintenance for its operation and use;

NOW, THEREFORE be it ordained by the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol, as follows:

SECTION 1 Rental Fee.- There shall be rental fee to be imposed for the use of the Punta Cruz Tourism Hall. The rental fee shall be pegged at P800.00 for the first eight (8) hours of use and P50.00 additional per hour in excess of 8 hours. The fee includes the lighting facilities and electric power consumed during the duration of the activity.

SECTION 2 The users shall first secure permission from the Municipal Mayor before arranging the payments to be made in the Municipal Treasurer’s Office for disposition.

SECTION 3 Payment shall be made before the use of the above-mentioned facility.

SECTION 4 The Mayor shall formulate measures to carry out the effective implementation of this ordinance.

SECTION 5 Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined of not less than P1,000.00 but not more than P1,500.00 or an imprisonment of not less than one (1) week but not more than 2 weeks at the discretion of the court.

SECTION 6 This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
