AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY BAMBOO RAFT OR ANY FISHING BOATS TO PASS ON THE MANGROVE PLANTATIONS AT THE SEAWATERS OF ANISLAG, SAN VICENTE, DIPATLONG, BOOD AND LAGTANGON, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1: It is unlawful for any person or group of person using bamboo rafts
or any fishing boat to pass across the mangrove plantations at the seawaters of San Vicente, Anislag, Dipatlong, Bood and Lagtangon, Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 2: That this mangrove plantation is a project of the government
implemented the people of the aforementioned barangays for economic reason and environmental concern in this coastal municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

SECTION 3: That in order to protect the mangrove plantation, signboards,
markers are erected in strategic places of the plantation for guidance and information.

SECTION 4: That any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall
be fined in the following manner.

1. For every plant destroyed ———- P 1.00
2. For every stick destroyed ———- 2.00
or an imprisonment of not less than 10 days or both at the discretion of the court.

SECTION 5: That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.
