AN ORDINANCE GIVING DUE RECOGNITION TO DESERVING, LOYAL AND FAITHFUL EMPLOYEES INCLUDING BARANGAY CAPTAINS AND SANGGUNIANG BAYAN MEMBERS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol that:
Sec. 1 – Definition of Terms:
a. Recognition – the act of formal acknowledgement, the state of being
recognized. A token or a sign or memorial of affection.
Sec. 2 – It is indeed but fitting to give due recognition to any Municipal Employees, Barangay Captains and Sangguniang Bayan Members who has been faithfully serving the Government in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol for so many years.
Sec. 3 – On the part of the employee, it is indeed a milestone to reach 10, 20, and 30 years of uninterrupted and unblemished service to the people of Maribojoc , Bohol.
Sec. 4 – It is not too much and costly on the part of the Municipal Government of Maribojoc but rather it shall serve a lasting memory of the untarnished relationship between Employer and Employee, hence they shall be remembered from generations to all the years.
Sec. 5 – In cognizance of the merits and invaluable service of the Municipal employees, Barangay Captains and Sangguniang Bayan Members, they shall be awarded on the basis of the following qualifications.
( a ) 10 years of uninterrupted service – Letter of Appreciation from the Chief
Executive Officer, plus a cash gift of P500.00.
( b) 20 years of uninterrupted service – Letter of Appreciation from the Chief Executive Officer, plus a cash gift of P1,000.00 or equivalent cost of wrist watch.
( c ) 30 years of uninterrupted service – Plague of Appreciation from the Chief Executive Officer, plus a cash gift of P2,000.00 or equivalent cost of Wrist Watch with name awardee embossed.
Sec. 6 – In order to ultimately achieve the financial aspect in connection with the award, it is therefore incumbent upon the Municipal Government of Maribojoc to appropriate funds for the purpose.
Sec. 7 – This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
