AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF VIDEO SETS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol that:
Sec. 1 – It shall be unlawful for a person or group of persons to engage in video computer games to allow children below 16 years to play for a pay, view or watch video games from 7:30 in the morning to 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon from Monday to Friday when elementary and high school classes are being held.
Sec. 2 – For the protection of the children who play, view or watch video games, the owner of the video computer set should provide a Polaroid to be attached to the video machine.
Sec. 3 – Anybody who wants to engage in the operation of video games set must first secure the Mayor’s permit and pay the corresponding permit or license fee as provided in the revised local tax code.
Sec. 4 – Any person or group of persons who shall have violated this Ordinance shall bi fined of not less than ONE HUNDRED PESOS ( P100.00 ) but not more than ONE THOUSAND PESOS or an imprisonment of not less than thirty days but not more than six months or both at the discretion of the court.
Sec. 5 – That copies of this ordinance be furnished to all those who are engaged in video computer games, the Office of the Station Commander, the Barangay Captains for their information, guidance and implementation.
Sec. 6 – All ordinances consistent to the provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Sec. 7 – This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
