AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTION OF A REGISTRATION FEE OF ONE THOUSAND PESOS (P1,000.00) AMONG BARANGAY MICRO BUSINESS ENTERPRISES(BMBE’s) FOR ITS ADMINISTRATION COST AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. .

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9178 was enacted to promote the establishments of Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE’s), providing incentives and benefits therefore and for other purposes;

BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1: Pursuant to Section 4 of R.A. 9178, the Office of the Treasurer of each City or municipality shall register the Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE’s) and issue a Certificate of Authority to enable the BMBE to avail of the benefits under the Act;

SECTION 2: To defray the administrative costs of registering and monitoring the Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE’s), a fee of One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) is hereby imposed for the registration and issuance of Certificate of Authority to any person or entity who avails of R.A. 9178 known as the “Barangay Business Enterprises (BMBE’s) Act of 2002;

SECTION 3: The LGU, thru the Office of the Municipal Mayor shall establish a One-stop-Business Registration Center and assign personnel aside from the Municipal Treasurer if necessary to handle the efficient and prompt registration and processing of permits/license of BMBE’s.

SECTION 4: Effectivity .- This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
