AN ORDINANCE GRANTING INCENTIVES TO ANY PERSON WHO INFORMS THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES CONCERNING VIOLATIONS TO MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 22-94 AND GRANTING 25% SHARE TO APPREHENDING BARNAGAY GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE PENALTY IMPOSED IN THE SAID ORDINANCE.

WHEREAS, Municipal Ordinance No. 22-94 is entitled: An Ordinance Providing Rules and Regulations in the Maintenance of Cleanliness in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, It is aimed to involve every individual in the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No. 22-94, and to encourage every individual to keep watch in keeping our Municipality clean;

WHEREAS, we only have limited law enforcers in our Municipality compared to the thousands of consistents, that our law enforcers could hardly monitor and apprehend loiterers

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION: 1. Every private person or group of private persons, who could inform our
local authorities concerning violators caught in the act of violating Municipal Ordinance No. 22-94 who after thorough investigations are found guilty, Informers shall be granted with incentive in the amount of P50.00.

SECTION: 2. The P50.00 incentive shall be taken out from the proceeds of the
penalty imposed in the Municipal Ordinance No. 22-94.

SECTION: 3. Barangay Tanods and Barangay Officials who can apprehend violators
within their respective barangay shall be shared with 25% to the penalty imposed and their share accrue to their barangay funds;

SECTION: 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
