RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HON. MAYOR LEONCIO B. EVASCO, JR. MUNICIPAL MAYOR, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL TO SIGN ALL WARRANTS DEPOSITED AND DRAWN AT LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES, TAGBILARAN BRANCH, IN FAVOR OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the local elections in May 2007 has brought about a change in administration in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol with the ascension into office of the Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr. as the new Municipal Mayor;

WHEREAS, with the leadership change, there is also a corresponding change of personalities who, by reason of their position, are expressly allowed and authorized by law to enter into different business transactions representing the municipality, including but not limited to banking transactions;

WHEREAS, the Land Bank of the Philippines, Tagbilaran Branch is the depository bank of the local government of Maribojoc, Bohol ;

WHEREAS, one of the pre-requisites demanded by the Bank Management is for the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol to pass a resolution granting authority to its local chief executive to sign all warrants deposited and drawn in said bank in favor of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, in its session duly assembled to grant authority to Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol to sign all warrants deposited and drawn at Land Bank of the Philippines, Tagbilaran Branch in favor of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Anastacia M. Arocha, Municipal Treasurer and the Land Bank of the Philippines-Tagbilaran Branch Management for their information, consideration and guidance.
