RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGR. GABINO C. REDULLA, MUNICIPAL MAYOR, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL, TO REPRESENT THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL AND ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANCY AN TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) THROUGH THE BUREAU OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT (BLGD) AND DILG REGIONAL OFFICE NO. VII.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Item (VI), sub paragraph (1) paragraph (b) of Section 444 of the Local Government Code of 1991, the Municipal Mayor upon the authorization by the Sangguniang Bayan, is mandated to represent the Municipality in all its business transactions, authorized for the allocation of funds for projects and sign in its behalf all bonds, contacts and obligations, and such other documents made pursuant to law or ordinance;

WHEREAS, the Computer-Based Administration System developed by the Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD), of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, and implemented with the assistance of the DILG Regional Offices, could now be availed by the Local Government Units (LGUs);

WHEREAS, the implementation of the Project whereby application system are to be installed and adopted in Local Government Units, will ensure effective and efficient local government operations thereby accelerating growth and development in LGUs;

ON MASS MOTION, of Sangguniang Bayan Members in present, it was

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize Engr. Gabino C. Redulla, Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol to represent the Municipality and enter into a Memorandum of Agreement for the adoption of the Consultancy an Technical Assistance with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Bureau of Local Government and Development and DILG Regional Office No. VII;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies and resolution the honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol, Director Rene K. Burdeso, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Regional Office No. VII, and Director Manuel Q. Gotis, CESO IV, Bureau of Local Government Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Central Office, Frnacisco Gold Condominium II, EDSA corner Mapagmahal St. Quezon City for their favorable endorsement and consideration, respectively.
