RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL TO

WHEREAS, it is best to congratulate the Municipal Mayor and the PNP members for keeping awake in the midst of cold December nights to entercept the sliced lumbers from candavid;

WHEREAS, illegal cutting of tress are rampant in these Barangay and some other Barangays in the Municipality;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol has been doing a massive campaign to preserve our forest reserves to prevent disasters like floods and drought due to ecological imbalance;

WHEREAS, the PNP being the Crime Busters in the Municipality confiscated 168 assorted sliced lumber for the immediate response of the reports received from the residents of the said Barangay;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan being the legislative body of the Municipality wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Municipal Mayor, Members of the PNP and the Informer for their action taken;

WHEREAS, the confiscation of these illegally cut logs are served as a stern warning to the illegal loggers of our town who have denuded our mountain barangays from the roots of this trees;

WHEREAS, the active participation of the Municipal Mayor, the Informer has encourage the PNP Members to conduct a raid and it will prevent another illegal activity of these illegal loggers in the mountain barangays;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to congratulate the Municipal Mayor, PNP-Maribojoc and the Informer for their outstanding performance in confiscating the illegally cut logs from Candavid.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of these resolution be furnished to the Municipal Mayor, PNP-Maribojoc, the Informer and Col. Luarence Cadungog, Camp Dagohoy, City of Tagbilaran for their information and guidance.
