RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PNP OFFICER ASSIGNED AT THE PUBLIC MARKET AT NIGHT SHIFT TO REGULATE THE CLOSURE AND OPENING OF THE MARKET GATES.

WHEREAS, resolution No. 30, series of 1992, was passed and approved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, requesting the Chief of Police PNP-Maribojoc to assign policemen for 24 hours daily duty at the Maribojoc Public Market;

WHEREAS, the PNP Officers have positively responded to the request for the past months and it is presumed that they are religiously doing their duty at night time, too;

WHEREAS, the long-awaited market gates are now installed in the two entrance of the Public Market;

WHEREAS, these gates are designed to be installed in order to keep the public market free from stray animals; from suspicious persons to roam around and inside the market; from bystanders who use the market as their drinking spree at wee hours of the night; and to eliminate robbery at the block tiendas;

WHEREAS, those objectives could be achieved only if this gates are properly regulated;

WHEREAS, these gates need the closed at 10:00 P.M and opened at 3:00A.M by a very reliable person;

WHEREAS, as per assessment, the PNP Officer assigned at public market at night shift, is deemed proper and most appropriate person to do the job;

WHEREAS, the office of the PNP shall have the custody of the gate keys;

WHEREFORE, be it resolved to request the PNP Officer assigned at the Public Market to regulate the closure and opening of the gates;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to request the PNP Chief Officer to give appropriate order to his members, regarding this resolution.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to furnish copies of this resolution to the PNP Chief Officers, to the market inspector and Municipal Treasurer for their appropriate action.
