RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DA PERSONNELS TO ORGANIZE NEW AND ACTIVATE OLD FARMERS ORGANIZATION UNDER THEIR SUPERVISION IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE PROMOTION OF DIFFERENT COOPERATIVES IN THE 22 BARANGAYS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, as provided in the New Local Government Code that the responsibility for delivery of basic services and facilities shall be devolved to LGU LIKE GIVING AGRICULTURAL SUPPORT Services through a distribution system for agriculture and fishery inputs and the operation of the agricultural and fishery produce collection and buying station;

WHEREAS, to strengthen the Farmers Organization in the 22 Barangays by supporting the 4-H Clubs, Rural Improvement Clubs, Fishermen’s Association and Farmers Association in this Municipality of Maribojoc;

WHEREAS, in order to create self-awareness thru support services like conducting seminars on Bio-Intensive Gardening ( BIG ) to augment the livelihood program as an income generating project to the different barangays;

WHEREAS, thru these activities our Farmers Organizations which will be the beneficiaries will realize how our government agencies through the coordination of local government to have a collaborate support by our cooperatives;

WHEREAS, the Non-Government Organization ( NGO ) which is now operational and has been given an important role by our National Government to help assist on the different cooperatives established in the barangays be self-reliant and self-sufficient;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request the DA Personnels to organize new and activate old Farmers Organization under their supervision in order to enhance the promotion of different cooperatives in the 22 barangays in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies be furnished to the OIC-Municipal Agriculture Officer, Mr. Ulysses Rule; the Provincial Agriculture Officer, City of Tagbilaran; the Municipal Mayor Atty. Jose E. Veloso, all Barangay Captains; Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.
