REQUESTING THE MANAGEMENT OF LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES TO FACILITATE THE CHANGE OF ECCD FUND ACCOUNT NUMBER 0612-1139-04 FROM NON-INTEREST BEARING CURRENT ACCOUNT TO INTEREST BEARING CURRENT ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL EFFECTIVE FROM THE DATE THE AMOUNT WAS DEPOSITED IN THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES AND DEMANDING INTEREST FOR SUCH DEPOSIT.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol has a deposit of the ECCD Fund under account Number 0612-1139-04 which is a non-interest bearing current account in the Land Bank of the Philippines, Tagbilaran Branch, Tagbilaran City;

WHEREAS, this ECCD Fund now deposited in the Land Bank of the Philippines does not earn any interest even if it has stayed in the bank for many months or years to the disadvantage of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;

WHEREAS, the ECCD Fund was deposit with the hope that it will bear interest and to facilitate the easy deposit without the necessary requirements for ECCD funds;

WHEREAS, for the good of the community of Maribojoc, it is hoped that a change of this account will be facilitated by the Management of the Land Bank of the Philippines;

WHEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to request the Management of Land Bank of the Philippines, Tagbilaran Branch to facilitate the change of ECCD Fund Account Number 0612-1139-04 from non-interest bearing current account to interest bearing account of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol effective from the date the amount was deposited in the Land Bank of the Philippines and demanding interest for such deposit;

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be sent to the Manager and other Land Bank of the Philippines Officials, Tagbilaran Branch, Tagbilaran City for their appropriate action and kind consideration of this request for the good of the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc, Bohol.
