RESOLUTION DECLARING NOVEMBER 24,1992 AS A TOWN HOLIDAY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, PROVINCE OF BOHOL IN CONNECTION WITH THE FIESTA CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF PATRON SAINT VINCENT FERRER.

WHEREAS, one of the Spanish legacies to the Filipino people is the celebration of town fiestas in honor to their Patron Saint and likewise associated with the time to give thanks to the Almighty God for the abundant graces received;
WHEREAS, town fiesta is also one of the special occasions where Filipino families will once again be united and renew their acquaintances after several years of separation;
WHEREAS, the celebration of a town fiesta in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol will also strengthen the ties among the Maribojochanons and neighboring towns especially when they come home to visit our town during the fiesta celebration;
WHEREAS, in order to legalize the holiday to be observed by government officials, public schools in the locality and employees of Maribojoc, Bohol it is but imperative that the celebration will be officially declared by the local legislative body;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved to declare November 24, 1992 as the town popular of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned.
